Weathergage keeps an eye on your competitors' products the way a patient analyst would. Every week it opens their app, notices what's new — features being tested, price changes, new integrations, new markets — and writes you a short brief on what it means, with a source for every claim. Not their press releases. What they actually shipped.
Found on a page nobody reads
Which AI companies power Linear's new agent features? Linear hasn't said — but its legal page listing the vendors it shares data with names them: Anthropic, OpenAI and Fireworks AI. Weathergage reads that page on every check, so the day a new name appears, you'll know.

Counted from public records
Productboard gives each customer a feedback portal at its own web address, and every address leaves a dated public record. Weathergage counted 84 of them — 1Password, Epic Games, Unity, Netlify and Zendesk among them — with 13 added in 2025 and six so far this year. That's a floor under their customer count, and how fast it's growing, without asking anyone.

Questions
What is Weathergage?
Weathergage is competitive intelligence for web apps. You name the products you want watched; every week Weathergage opens each one with a real browser, compares it against the check before, and writes you a short brief on what changed and what it means — with a source for every claim.
How does Weathergage find things a company hasn't announced?
It reads what a product publishes rather than what its company says: the pages, the JavaScript behind them, feature flags switched on quietly, pricing and plans, new web addresses that appear in public certificate records, the vendors a legal page discloses, changelogs and feeds. Those change when the work ships, which is usually well before the announcement.
How often does Weathergage check?
Every week per product by default, and the interval is yours to set for each one. Every check is compared against the one before it, so what you read is the difference rather than a fresh description of the same app.
Where does each claim come from?
Every claim in a Weathergage brief carries the page or record it was read from and the date it was read, and the snapshot behind it is kept. A sentence in the brief can be opened back to its source rather than taken on trust.
Does Weathergage need access to a competitor's product?
No. Weathergage reads only what a product serves to the public — no account, no login, nothing behind a paywall, nothing a visitor with a browser couldn't reach. What it adds is patience and memory: the same reading, every week, set against every reading before it.
Who is Weathergage for?
Founders and execs who need to know where a rival is heading, product teams tracking what competitors are testing, marketing and sales who have to answer for a rival's new page the day it goes up, and investors and analysts watching a market move.
How do I get access to Weathergage?
Weathergage is in private beta and opening to a small group first. Join the waitlist on this page and we'll write when it's your turn — one email to confirm your address, and nothing else until you click it.
